Our Carbon Footprint

Approaching net-zero carbon emissions does not mean approaching a halt to global warming. Despite this, integrating methods for sequestering carbon emissions alongside using clean energy and engaging in environmentally friendly practices can slow the rate of rising global temperatures.

Measuring our carbon footprint

Atria is determined to take into account its carbon footprint by measuring direct emissions from its controlled operations, as well as measuring indirect emissions from worker commuting, electricity, heating, and air conditioning.

Energy efficiency

We will continue to increase our energy efficiency in buildings and manufacturing processes, install renewable energy systems, choose power suppliers providing renewable energy, shift toward operating electric vehicles, and permit telecommuting for certain positions.

Waste management

However possible, we reuse and recycle waste generated from our operations. We continue to use the most sustainable materials for synthesizing our products.

Supply chain

We are constantly trying to reduce our carbon footprint throughout the entire supply chain by working with material suppliers who are environmentally responsible.

Investments

We plan to consistently invest in reforestation, forest conservation, and renewable energy projects.

Accountability

We prefer to have third parties verify our emission reports and reduction outcomes. We also believe it is our duty to have these reports publicly available.

Outlook

The road to achieving net-zero carbon emissions, and subsequently zero carbon emissions, is an arduous yet rewarding endeavor. We will continue to innovate and invest in new technologies to expedite reductions in our carbon footprint for the foreseeable future.
